Our thoughts are with the family. We moved into the neighbourhood in 1979. Nicky was a wonderful friend and caring person. When Maria broke her ankle, she was there to help and assist. Walking her dogs every day, there was lots of opportunity for a chat with her. All the best to the family. Jaap and Maria Schouten, 71 Irving Place, Ottawa.

Dear Catton Family We read, with sadness, the news of Nicky's death. To us, she was a good neighbour and great friend - especially in our time of trouble. We shall never forget her kindness in allowing us to rent your lovely cottage, a refuge for us in difficult times. Nicky's warmth and humour are something we shall always remember.
