Dean's passing away is a shock to all of us. Our thoughts and love go to you in this very difficult time. May the kindest spirits take care of him, and all of you. Working with Dean was a pleasure, his enthusiasm contagious, and his ability to connect at a personal level impressive ...when the rest of us just ran with our hair on fire. He will be missed beyond these words. Marek

I was very saddened to hear that Dean had passed away. My sincere condolences to Bev, daughters and the extended family. I easily remember Dean from our time together in Trenton as always so intent on enjoying life to the fullest and having fun with everyone around, from a pick up hockey games to the most mundane of chores during a late shift.

The first time I met Dean(over a beer at Club 41) he became a friend for life. The last I met Dean(over a beer at Moon`s Landing) 20 years later he was a lifetime friend. I will relive all the points in between with a toast in Dean`s honour many times over. Dean was a special friend with a vivacious outlook on life.
He will be missed.

Lisa and I were deeply saddened to hear of Dean's sudden passing. We remember him as a gentle giant with a contagious smile. We cherish those memorable moments spent among friends at our home in Battawa, enjoying home cooked meals and a cold beer or two. Dean had a great outlook on life, armed with impressive self-confidence he faced challenges head-on and believed in "gettin 'er done" without all the whining. We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with his family in this difficult period. Know that we will always remember Dean and feel privileged to have known such a great person.

The sudden passing of Dean has deeply saddened us and we wish to express our sincere condolences to all of Dean's loved ones his immediate family, Bev, and his girls Emily and Lauren. Dean was a co-worker of ours in Trenton. His kind, fun seeking, hard working ways were often enjoyed and admired by those who worked with him. A generous soul who loved to make others laugh and strove to live life to its fullest, we will honor the many memories we shared. As a proud father Dean often spoke of his girls and their latest adventures with a warm grin and a loving twinkle in his eye. It was through stories shared about family and friends that we came to know a gentle, loving, caring man that had a zest to conquer each day and live in the moment, he will be missed. May God bring your family strength and peace at this time of need; you are in our thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult time.

Nola and I were saddened to hear the news of Dean's passing. He was a true friend who left us with memories that we will cherish forever. Together, we represented city slickers from both Toronto and Montreal, we explored the wilderness and shared in several character building outdoor adventures. It was on these adventures that I learned that Dean could not paddle, he was a lousy fisherman, a terrible hunter but the best of friends. He will be greatly missed. Bev, Lauren, Emily, Mrs. Cully and family, we would like you to know that we hold a special place in our hearts for you as we pray that God grant you the strength and comfort you will need in times of sorrow. Our deepest sympathies Jack and Nola Leroux

Bev & Family; We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss and offer our deepest sympathy and condolences. I worked with Dean at the Trenton Air Base and knew him for many years. Dean was a stand-up kind of guy, who always took charge, as well as full responsibility for his decisions and could be counted on to get any job done. His sense of humour and work ethics, won the hearts of all who knew him and we will certainly miss his candour and friendship. Our hearts go out to you and your family Bev, and may you find comfort in knowing the Military Community shares in your sorrow and loss of a great human being.

Husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, he was all of these, and often more than one at a time. I will miss him profoundly. Beverly, Lauren, Emily, Mom, Deb, Gary and families, remember the joy and the laughter that he brought to us; without Dean, we could not have laughed so hard, or lived so fully.
