Obituary of Doris Allen

ALLEN, Doris (Hill) Doris died on the evening of Monday, November 3, 2008, after suffering from leukemia. Darling Doris, beloved by Bill and the children, Jacquie, Carol, Tom, John and Bill Jr., and all the wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchild. Dear sister of Bill Hill, and darling sister Pamela Bolton. And all their wives and husbands, and all her many friends. There was laughter and hugs to the end. Special thanks to Dr. Lisa Hicks and the wonderful nurses and staff of the Medical Day Centre at St. Michael's Hospital where Doris received kind and loving care. The funeral will be held in the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Saturday, November 8 at 1 p.m. If desired, donations can be sent to St. Michael's Hospital, with special thanks to the Medical Day Centre.
