Obituary of John Greey

GREEY, John Gamble Peacefully on Thursday, October 30th, 2008 at St. Michael's Hospital in his 84th year. Son of the late Paul and Margery Greey. Beloved husband of the late Mary Betty Stewart and the late Geraldine Gertrude Bowman. Loving father and stepfather of John (Marlene), Michael (Nicolette), Janet, Elisabeth and Judy (Richard). Proud grandfather of John William, Tory, Ginger, James, Arianne, Ian, Stephanie and Avery. Brother of the late Prudence Gooderham. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, November 3rd. A funeral service will be held in CHRIST CHURCH DEER PARK, 1570 Yonge Street (northwest corner of Yonge and Heath Streets) on Tuesday, November 4th at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Ontario March of Dimes, 10 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario, M4H 1A4 a charity of which John was a strong supporter, or to Trinity College School, 55 Deblaquire Street North, Port Hope, Ontario, L1A 4K7.
