I only just found out about Sharon's passing, so I do apologize for this late condolence. I, too, had the honour and privilege of working with Sharon for many years at Play and Learn. She was always an inspiration both professionally and personally. When I was with Sharon, I always learned from her...about myself, the children we worked with and the world as a whole.... and I always had fun! I will forever be grateful. My heartfelt condolences to all,

Sharon was a force of light who enjoyed her family, friends, career and life in general. She always had a smile and words of encouragement for those who needed it. Over the years whenever Sharon saw me, she always came over with a arms wide and an open heart, she had the ability to make you feel welcomed. Always enquiring about my children and my life, Sharon never tired of enjoying the stories of my daycare charges. I will miss Sharon's ways, her wonderful loud laugh and the way she viewed the world. The last time I saw Sharon, she told me that death was hardest on those left behind and that was the hardest part of leaving this earth. Sharon knew the hardest time for her family would be after the funeral when all the people go back to their lives.

What a loss for all who knew Sharon. What a loss when people like Sharon leave this world. But she left an inerasable path behind. Thank you Sharon for memories, for laughs and for down-to-earth chats.
Rest in peace my friend.

Sharon has been a friend of ours for many years. The Cricket Club was our social centre. I met Sharon through tennis and we became fast friends. Sharon had a warm and welcoming way. Sharon loved playing tennis and was always part of the post game social group. Many a discussion was had over wine and snacks where all manner of problems were discussed. Sharon often shared her professional expertise with us regarding our need for physio therapy. We all had aches and pains that she was more than happy to listen to and direct us for treatment. Sharon helped Sandi solve some of her sciatica issues and gave her the name of a wonderful physio to work with her. I admired Sharon as a brave and positive cancer survivor. We all celebrated her 10 year cancer free anniversary at the Club with a toast and a glass of wine. Sharon has been an inspiration in her effort to battle cancer yet again. She has shown us that attitude is everything. She was positive and high spirited and made a supreme effort to come to the Christmas Tennis party pre dinner cocktail time. She socialized with us all. She looked frail but she never stopped smiling as well wishers came to talk with her. You could see that she was thrilled to be seeing her friends again. She stayed with us for as long as she could manage and one of the players took her home. As it turns out that was the last time many of us saw her. We are with Sharon in spirit. She was a great lady and a fine friend. She will be missed. With love and condolences, Jane Murray & Sandra Sabloff Pelican Bay Florida

Dear Peter, James and Kathryn: How truly sad we are. It has been our privilege to have known Sharon as well as we did over the years and know what a special person she was and, in heaven, is. So many memories..Times spent with Peter and Sharon at dozens of CA Convocation dances, which were always great times. Times spent at your cottage. Times spent at Cathy's. The memory that lasts of Sharon is that smile and laugh. She loved to laugh, indicating she was a free spirit and a very up person. We will all sorely miss her. One last thought. Sharon left nothing undone. She was a role model wife, Mom, Grandma and friend. The example she set for we who remain will last as long as we do and we am sure lives on with her grandkids. A life truly well lived, Sharon. See you in heaven, which is where you are now. Very best wishes, Gord, Chris, Allie and Sarah

Sharon was a mentor to many of us on Long Point who developed cancer. Seeing her courage,we have no choice but to follow her example and soldier on. She also started a support group for women with cancer. She was an instigator of the famous LPGA--Our Long Point Gals Assoc.-- Monday morning golf. She was also co-instigator of our very sucessful Annual Golf Tournament. She also decided our aging bodies needed some help and instigated Yoga on the sports court. Sharon was always willing to help anyone with her physio and Yoga expertise. She was always positive--always cheerful--always connected to her community--ALWAYS MISSED--ALWAYS LOVED.

My deepest condolences to Peter and the Fullerton family. I was fortunate to work with Sharon for many years within the Nursery School and Infant Development Service at Holland Bloorview. Not only did she inspire me every day with her knowledge and words of wisdom and encouragement, but she also instilled a sense of excitement and pride in all who worked along side her. She never stopped striving for new knowledge and learning, and was the true embodiment of compassionate care. Her pride and love of her family was clearly evident and she had such a love of life, her friends, her sports and yoga practice and her cottage. It was a privilege getting to know you Sharon, you will be missed and forever in our hearts and thoughts.

Such sad news that I received today; on the eve of the 2 year anniversary of losing Doug. We will never understand why we lose those we love at such a young age so we carry on and do things they would have wanted us to do. Love each other, hug each other, share stories and hand them down to the next generations so those we lost will never be forgotten. Holding you all up in prayer at this very sad time in your lives.
