Dear Wally, Bonnie, Deborah, Maurice, Jordan and Tyler, I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts at this difficult time. I have been friends with Mae since we were both five years old and over the years as we chatted it was always clear how very important you all were to her. I have lost a good friend with whom I was able to reminisce about our years in Leaside together and I feel privileged to have had Mae in my life. I am unable to attend the service on Saturday due to my health but I will be there in spirit. She was my first friend and I know we will all cherish the memories of how this wonderful, generous and loyal woman has touched our lives. Sincerely, Ruby Riddell

Dear Wally,Deborah and Bonnie Mae; We are former Donegal Drive neighbours who are saddened to read about the loss of your dear wife, mother and friend. We remember the kindness of Mae as she always had time to have the neighbourhood children come in and offer her warm, and kind hearted hospitality. We remember having or photographs taken by Mr. Legge of myself, my sister and father while Wally was with the Star. Our fond memories of Leaside include the Legges and we hope that all the recollections of good times and times that have been challenging remain with you to warm your hearts. Mae's spirit will remain with you always until you meet again. Sincerely, June and Jim Bessey Kay Miller (Bessey) and Sharon Bessey

Dear Mr. Legge and Family, Please accept our sincerest condolences on the peaceful passing of your beloved wife, Mae. Having known Bonnie for 33 years, I know how close both of you were to each other and how devoted you both were. I am thankful and glad to have seen Mrs. Legge this past summer. I will always remember her for her generous heart in providing all the baking for my bridal shower many years ago. I know that she loved her family fiercely and was very proud of all their accomplishments in life. May you find comfort and support in knowing that our prayers and thoughts are with you at this very difficult time in your lives. May God bless. Evelyn, Frank, Deanna and Francesca.
