Obituary of Edward Poulton
POULTON, Edward (Ted) (Veteran of WWII, R.C.A.F.)
At the Wexford Residence on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Kathleen. Dear father of Bruce, Lynne, Lori and the late Barry. Father-in-law of Elizabeth, Irene and Douglas Cook. Grandfather of James (Vanessa), Randy (Corrina), Bradley (Rene), Dale (Dave Rowe), Ryan (Jenn), Cale and Russell. Great-grandfather of Cole, Julia, Cameron, Tessa, Avery, Ethan and Morgan. Ted was a retired 40 year employee of IBM. He was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying golf at the IBM Country Club, coordinator of the IBM Hockey League, referee coordinator of the Scarborough Hockey League, trainer of the Toronto Maple Leaf Intercounty Baseball Team where he was known as "Doc." Many fond memories of family and friends in the Markham area, and summers at the family cottage at Lake Simcoe. A special thanks to all the staff at the Wexford Residence. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, October 19th. Service in the chapel on Monday, October 20th at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Wexford Residence, 1860 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto M1R 6B1 would be appreciated.
