To : Bobbi's Family: I first met Bobbi only about two years ago. I had walked into Zoetry, a wonderful new clothing shop not far from where I live and there she was with the most radiating smile and delightfully fun personality. Not at all the serious, " Oh you'll look perfect in that !" Approach. Rather, "Have you seen this, it looks great on!" If it didn't, she would giggle and say, "Not for you!" Bobbi, herself, always looked fabulous and had great personal style. She could talk about anything and we soon realized we could share lots of stories and solve almost any problem. I adored her and soon began stopping by just to say "Hi!!" I also discovered that she was a reader and we began sharing books..all of which would lead to more fascinating " tales" about our experiences. Our last book was " Clementine, the Life of Mrs. Winston Churchill". Just before Christmas, I dropped by with a bottle of French wine for her. ( We had both confessed to being Francophiles). When I presented it to her, I noted that Bobbi had tears inher eyes and so we had a wonderful warm embrace. When I stopped by Zoetry with two books for her last Saturday, I could barely Josh's incredibly sad news. Bobbi was a unique and truly beautiful person and will be so sorely missed. I adored her and am grateful to have known her. Sincerely Joan Law

I will miss you Bobbii, your loving nature and selfless friendship and covering for me at work. I will miss sharing our cat stories and Winnie the Pooh over our lunches at the Keg. My sympathy nd thoughts go out to the family and I would love to celebrate Bobbi's life with you and her friends later this year.

To all the Deitch Family and good friends of Bobbi's: It is difficult to realize that Bobbi is gone. She has crossed over and I like to think , was met by her loving parents and pets who arrived ahead of her. I always loved Bobbi. The Deitch family were/are like my own. She was always so stylish and smart. She adored animals and loved any that I had. We'd exchange humorous e-mails or tear-jerker ones, often about cats, dogs or life in general. I am so glad that she had Christmas 2015 with a number of her family...how special that was! I will always remember her gorgeous smile and joy for life and her home and Toronto. She will constantly be here still, with a certain memory or article of clothing or furry friend. Sending love to you all at this sad time.

I worked very closely with Bobbi during the early years of the Telepsychiatry Program at Sick Kids. She was always happy to help out with whatever the education program needed, including supporting the various presenters who were less than comfortable with the technology. The success of our education program owes a lot to her efforts. Bobbi was also always a fun and sunny presence and a pleasure to work with. I am sad to hear of her passing and express my condolences to her family and friends.

I was always happy to see Bobbi at Telepsychiatry. She was warm-hearted and had a good sense of humour. She was always interested in the young clients, concerned about their well-being. My thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time. Lisa

Bobbi worked in our telepsychiatry program between 2004 and 2010, supporting our medical staff and all our education events. She was always a bright, cheery face and a warm, compassionate person who cared deepy about the psychiatrists she supported, but especially about the kids and their sometimes very stressful life situations. Bobbi was also clearly a cat lover, and and I recall the great commitment she had to her cat when his health was failing. I think it's fair to say that Bobbi loved animals, but all living things in general. It's a bit ironic that on New Year's day as I was taking down our Christmas tree, my attention was drawn to the Santa ornament that Bobbi gave me for Christmas the first year she joined our team, and I wondered how she was doing. Unfortunately the answer to that question was a sad one. It was great having Bobbi in our program and we greatly appreciate all her help in the development of it. Remembering you, Tony, and the rest of the Telepsychiatry team at Sickkids.

I had the pleasure to work with Bobbi at telepsychiatry for several years. I looked forward to our chats as she always brought brightness to our days. I had the opportunity to hear her laughter one more time just before the holidays and I am glad I was able to connect with her even just briefly. I wish her family well in this sad time and share in their grief. Susan
