Dear Winn and Family, Sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. How peaceful that she died in her sleep. I would see her occasionally at Bradgate and she always looked so dignified with a smile on her face. She and your Father had a large family with grandchildren and great grandchildren. How lovely to think that they are responsible for bringing many good citizens into this world. The loss of a parent is difficult at any age. Our thoughts are with you and your family. WE were so sorry to read of the death of June Oughtred. We knew that the Oughtred family had just enjoyed a wonderful get-together on October 1 with June before you both headed off for your Quebec holiday. You will think back to that very special occasion now. Our Uncle Jack Christian, David's uncle, always spoke highly of that generation of the Oughtred family. Your Mother was an awesome friend to my mother Betty Hilton. We shared laughs in NOTL and also when she visited us in Mississauga.We moved to Florida 8 years ago but I know June continued to be a beloved friend of Mom's, especially after Mom moved back to Toronto last year. Our thoughts to all of you on the passing of a bright, tiny light.
