I was an office manager and legal assistant to Don Catalano back in 1984 when he opened private practice with George Bagwell at 84 Avenue Road, Toronto. He was a wonderful boss and treated me like a daughter. It was a privilege to know him and to work with him. We also stayed in touch throughout the years sharing stories of people we knew and memorable cases we worked on. He will be dearly missed, but not forgotten by all those whose lives in touched.

The Paulozza Family will miss Mr.Catalano . He made our lives feel secure from the first most important purchase a couple makes to the last and final wishes the family made.A Great Man, he's advice and words were at our dinner table as years passed in life . We never worried who to trust with when important matters were to decide. Dad or Mom would always say . No worry Tomorrow we call Mr Catalano . God Bless Mr.Vincent Joseph Donald Catalano. And His Family.

I had the privilege of caring for Don (as his dentist)for fifty (50) years! It was ALWAYS a pleasure to see him, share stories, catch up on the latest "goings-on" in our respective lives, and then, eventually, get to address the reason why he had come to see me... Everyone here enjoyed his presence, sense of humour, courtesy and kindness. We already miss him, and will think only good thoughts whenever he comes to mind, which will be often and regularly. Please accept our sincerest condolences on your loss.

Donald, in 1976 you invited an 18 year-old 2nd year UWO student to Campbell House (the Advocates' Society) for lunch and some schooling advice. Your enthusiasm for your alma mater and the HBA was so sound and so focused that "no" wasn't an option. I never looked back and I owe you a very belated thank you. Our sincere condolences to your family.

Don was a wonderful man. He truly cared and made you feel secure in his confidence. He was intelligent, inspiring, and so well respected. He never missed an opportunity to express how proud he was of his daughters. I will always remember Don's wit and charm, but most of all I will miss our regular "check-in" calls, lunch dates and the knowledge that he was always there if I needed him. I will cherish the memory of his kindness and friendship.

So sorry to hear of Don's death. In our earlier years we had the good fortune to share a few good (though brief) laughs together. My sincerest condolences to Donnie's children and also to cousin Joan.

A beautiful obit for a beautiful man. Classic photo. We just raised a glass to the Cat, sitting by the water in Russell across from Pahia in North Island, N.Z. A terrific human being, challenging boss and great friend!!! Our lives were better for having the Cat in our lives.

I was able to speak with Don a week or two ago and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. As his family knows, we were old high school friends, including King, Jack and Charles. I think I can speak for King, Jack, Charles and myself to say that each of us will miss him dearly. We were very close in high school and we all saw in Don a promising future, not only for his athletic skills but his academics. We managed to escape the high school troubles we use to get into to. To his family, especially Pat and his girls, my deepest condolences to you. A special thought to my goddaughter, who I would like to speak with. I regret due to health problems I am experiencing at this time, I will not be able to attend Don’s service. Love, Claude Pensa
