I met Louise when I started working for MB in the early 80's. She was so kind and thoughtful and her customers loved her. She will be remembered fondly and greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

I first met Louise in 1985 when I moved to Toronto & started working for Marilyn Brooks. For a 20 yr old from London, Ontario, Louise was larger than life to me. So glamorous, stylish and charismatic. Only topped by her heart of gold. I have many fond memories of her that I'll cherish forever.

My deepest condolences to family and friends who have lost a beautiful soul. I met Louise in the early 80"s. I was wandering around as a new mother in the Cumberland Terrace and happened on the Marilyn Brooke store . After my first step into the store I was hooked on Marilyn Brooks and Louise. I loved our shopping adventures. Until Louise left Marilyn Brooks she dressed me as well as my mother. She was meticulous in everything she did. I lost touch with Louise, and was shocked to read yesterday of her too early death. Louise: Rest in peace. Love, Rachel

I met Louise in 1980 at Marilyn Brooks on Carlton St. when I was a student and working there part time. Louise was a glamorous, kind and generous soul and we always remained friends. I think Louise was one of the smartest people I've ever known. She had an extraordinary memory for names and birthdays. Louise told great stories with a wonderful sense of humour and detail. She had a book in her that she never got to write. Louise had such courage and dignity in her fight to regain her health. She was getting ready to move to a new apartment. Louise will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
With our deepest sympathy,
Nancy,Marsh,Danielle,Bilkis,Tiffany,Amanda,Muy and Jeannie

Louise played such an important role in my childhood and spoiled me as if I was her own daughter. I'll never forget her impeccable gift wrapping skills, her glamorous stories, and the boxes of pain au chocolat that she always brought when she came for a visit. I feel so lucky to have had her in my life and she will be greatly missed.

Louise was always larger than life. I first met her in the 1960s when she modeled for me at The Unicorn. Then in the 70s, Louise started working with me in the Marilyn Brooks retail division until I retired in 2003. Her many clients trusted her and loved the way she dressed them each season. She had a wonderful sense of style and a great taste level. Stories will be told over and over about our wild and wonderful friend Louise.

Louise and I worked together for many happy years at Marilyn Brooks Btqs. She was the Fashion
Coordinator and it always amazed me her ability to choose the correct and flattering clothes for our
customers. She was always charming and remembered each and every person who entered the boutique.
Wonderful memories ... "what we have once enjoyed, we can never lose"

Louise was my first introduction to the fashion industry in Toronto in 1985. She snagged me into Marilyn Brooks store at the Holt Renfrew Centre and never let me go. She was beautiful, vivacious and determined. I loved the way she knew how to dress a woman. She was one of a kind!

Her elegance is unforgettable, her laugh and charming ways will stay with me always. I loved my years working with Louise at Marilyn Brooks and consider myself fortunate to have known her and blessed for the mark she has left on my life. May she rest in peace, I will miss her.
