Obituary of Percy Page
REV. PERCY WOODLEY PAGE
July 10, 1924 - November 29, 2015
With great sadness, the family of Percy Page announces his passing. Percy, beloved husband of the late Joyce Evelyn Page, nee Lambert. Loving father of Lillian and her husband Bob Bruno, Alfred and his wife Anne. Adored and caring grandfather of Melissa, Brittany and Alexandra. After retirement from the United Church ministry and the federal civil service, Percy worked and volunteered in many capacities, including at the Scott Mission, the Overseas Missionary Fellowship, the Christian Literature Crusade and Worldwide Evangelism for Christ. He enjoyed his computer, creating posters for social and community events at St. Hilda's Towers and New Horizons Tower, designing greeting cards, playing word and board games (and winning!). In 2012 he was honoured with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions and achievements in volunteering. Family and friends may call at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, December 4 from 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, please donate to OMF International - Canada - omf.ca, 21-5155 Spectrum Way, Mississauga, ON L4W 5A1.
