I remember Audrey as a strong independent and very spirited woman as exemplified by her move from Britain to work in Trinidad with her husband and then leaving Trinidad to retire in Canada. After losing her husband shortly after, she was able to carve out a new life. After working at temporary positions, she joined the North York Board of Education as a film booker and then moved to Media Production Services. She retired at 67 and enjoyed 15 years in the home she purchased in London Ontario. As her friend for over 35 years, I respected her determination and perseverance when faced with many health challenges. She's at peace now and out of the "GD wheelchair". I think she can now walk tall and straight.
