Dear Signy, I am thinking of you this Spring and my whole family send their love to you. Most particularly, I remember your Mum's generosity as I ready her canoe for this season of paddling. I treasure it and I will never forget nor fail to appreciate all her kindness to me. Much love to you cousin, Jeffy

Signe, please accept our thoughts and condolences on the recent passing of your Mom. I had heard how she had been ill for quite some time and know that would have been very stressful for both of you. We remember your Mom very fondly. With love from both my Mom (Cherith Howard) and me Carroll.

Dear Signy: I am so saddened to hear of the lost of your mom. Florence, your dad and I became great friends up at the Rosseau Lake Music Program. Watching her come across the bay in her Viking aluminum boat with her 5 horsepower motor each morning was a great source of merriment. She also came to every single music camp held at the Boyd Conservation School, twice yearly, for nineteen years. I had tried to phone recently and found the number not in service and I tried to reach you but again found no response. Would love to speak with you when all is settled and share some stories which you might like to have. You won't recall, but I visited the Pink Pad for lunch one day and you were there with Andrew in arms. He was being a little cranky and you looked very tired so I offered to take him for a bit. He calmed down and was cooing in a very few minutes. I wish I'd had a photo. I can be reached at 416 259 9152. Condolences from all the Music at Boyd campers and also the many from Rosseau. Sincerely: J. Bev Stainton

We send our love to you Signy. I loved your Mum, my wonderful aunt. She was so very generous to us; all her wonderful gifts and kindnesses. Another trait my father greatly admired in her was that she was always calm in a crisis. Aunt Florency and I shared a love of wildlife, from chipmunks to snowy owls. And she felt strongly about protecting the environment, preserving the Earth for the future. Godspeed Aunt and thank you. With love, Jennifer

Our deepest sympathy to you Signy and to your wonderful children and extended family. Aunt Florence was a one of a kind woman! She had an amazing presecnce about her that made her respected and loved by so many. Growing up as back door neighbours was an honour. We had so much fun but always under the watchful eye of both sets of parents! I will never forget her wonderful hugs and how proud she was of us growing up. That support continued certainly for me for most of my life through cards and notes and her visit to camp for its 75th Anniversary. Camp Tanamakoon was a special place for her and I was so happy to share that passion with her. I will make a contribution to the Kids In Camp Charity in her honour. Thank you Aunt Florence for all that you gave to us and to so many-you will never be forgotten. Love and Hugs from all the Thoms to you Signy. xoxoxo
