Obituary of Nicholas De Munnik

NICHOLAS DE MUNNIK Nick, the 'ancient mariner' died very peacefully at home mid day, with the sun overhead, on Tuesday, November 17th. Nick was foremost a very proud father of his three loving and caring children; Lynn (Krim), Jill, and Tim (Karen). He was blessed with three amazing grandkids; Sarah (partner Phil as a bonus) Elijah and Liam (loves tba). He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of over 40 years, Lynne. They lived a wonderful life, sailed many memorable miles and made one another laugh, even through the tough times. Nick was and will always be known as his own man, a compliment in this case. His greatest passion was his family that included his very cherished niece Tory (Rob) and nephew Bill (Shauna), their kids, and little whatsitsname, soon to be born. Nick was a sailor, author, teacher and an irrepressible raconteur. He was blessed with a family that loved his stories, a wife who'll always adore him, wonderful friends that laughed with him and a cat who's going to be lost without him. Fair winds, Nicki, may the wind be always on your beam.
