Dear Elizabeth and family, This is such a sad moment for all of John's friends and family. We so enjoyed his friendship for the many years we were neighbors at 5QQ. We will miss his wonderful humor and all the helpful medical advise he so generously shared with us. John and Andras spend many years going to the Antique Market on a Sunday morning - both of them often hiding purchases from there and Winners! Rest in peace, John.

...........fabulous surgeon, wonderful teacher by example, colleague and friend. He was a credit to his specialty, surgery, to his chosen profession of Medicine, to his colleagues and his country. I witnessed his outstanding surgical successes. His hands were magic, his mind keenly intelligent and his ethics were of the highest standard. He was, literally, saviour of life. I mourn his loss and extend deepest sympathies to the family.

Dear Elizabeth Laughton, As your former neighbours down the hall at 500, our hearts go out to you with warm remembrance as we read of John moving on. What a wonderful trail he left behind him down the years, with some many lives touched for good. We often met while walking our dogs, and he always had a kind word for Jac (and Clover before him).A true gentleman, in the best sense of that word. Everyone here appreciated his quietly efficient chairing of the Condo Board a few years ago, and we miss you both since you have left. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. You were blessed together for so many years, and that blessing went through you to your family, and to so many others. May it continue to light your days. Bruce McLeod
