Dear Jean, Rudy Junior and family, Eleni: November 17-2015 We waited until this morning to send our condolences after yesterday's final farewell to your and our beloved Rudy. Coming from close family backgrounds, much like yours and Rudy's, Radmila and I feel your deep loss of this special man we all miss. Our only solace is the memories of so many wonderful times we had together, especially since our initial meeting in Canada back in 1974, when Jean and Rudy came to our first house in Coquitlam after his transfer from Toronto to Vancouver. From then on it was an endless series of wonderful events, including the arrival of Rudy Junior and Eleni, their growing up with our slightly older boys, meetings in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Cyprus, and so on. We all miss him terribly but at the same time recognize that nature's recent painful cruelty has been replaced by the peace of his passing. Our love to you all, Radmila & George Ionides

Dear Jean and the Ionides family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Rudy. May God rest his soul, and provide you with comfort during these difficult times. I worked with Rudy for many, many years at Bechtel. I have lots of good memories of our working relationship and the long hours that he had all of us, including himself, work on various proposals and projects. Dearest Jean, Words can not express how sad I am to hear of Rudy's passing. I fondly remember meeting both you Jean and Rudy shortly before Steve and I married. I have fond memories of you both attending our wedding in Montreal. I have kept in contact with my sister Ruth, who by the way is devastated to hear of the loss of your beloved husband. I pray you find comfort and solace in your family at this time. May his memory be forever eternal.
