I and my law partners and associates had the honor and pleasure of working with Ken with projects in Utah. He was an outstanding business man and a wonderful person. The first time we met over lunch at the Little America in Salt Lake City, Ken impressed me with his warm, outgoing manner, his keen intellect, remarkable business acumen, and his direct and clear manner of speaking. Ken knew how to cross-examine the lawyers and cut short the legalese. He quickly drilled to the core of an issue with a few efficient questions, drew his conclusions and made decisions. Though my relationship with Ken was purely professional, I knew from that first meeting he was a remarkable individual of the highest integrity. Our continued relationship over the years reinforced my respect and appreciation. A great man. We extend our sympathies and thoughts to his family.

In my time at Silver Eagle, I have had the distinct pleasure to be able to work for and to know a truly great man-Ken Reucassel. Ken was a kind, caring man that lived his life with the highest of integrity and with unwavering personal principles. Ken brought out the very best in people and inspired and supported others so that they could be as successful as possible. I have many great memories of conversations and lunches with Ken. He was always warm and always wanted to know first that my family was doing well. I enjoyed every conversation, interaction and visit with Ken. i am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and to know someone as special as him. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of Ken's loved ones during this difficult time.

Working at IGI I have numerous wonderful memories of Ken. One of the first projects I worked on I was forced to later make a formula change due to supply and it failed at the customer. A few days later Ken came down to the lab and talked to me, put his hand on my shoulder and said "I have confidence in work" when no one else did. Ken found out my sister was a full time amateur athlete and sponsored her. I had some time off for family and when I returned there was a hand written letter from Ken on my desk of encouragement and if I needed anything let him know. Ken was a great person in every way. I feel fortunate to have known Ken and when my son grows up and I have the opportunity to give him advice it will include memories I have of Ken. With my deepest sympathies for Ken's family and love ones.

I had gotten to know Ken thrugh his love of old boats. He had aquired a marvelous collecion and was very proud of them. I knew Ken as I was retained to keep them going and repair them as need be. Ken was a perfectionist and always wanted everything to work always and was a stickler for originaity and the boats history. I only met Ken a half dozen times but we always had a good chat and were always were able to work out the problem at hand with a quick email and decision. I am so very saddened for the loss of such a great man and visionary.

One day as I was covering reception and a beautiful woman came in, Jane, Ken's wife, she smiled and asked me if can let Ken know that he has a visitor. I asked Jane to sign in not knowing that she was Ken's wife. Jesse came out of his office and asked me if I knew who the lady was and I said "No" I don't and he told me that her name was Jane and it's Ken's wife. Wow!! I said to myself and I made her sing in. I called Ken to apologize that I did not know it was his wife, and I got a nice reply from Ken : Marianne you did the right thing!!

My deepest condolences to Jane, Gaye and Duncan and the entire Reucassel family. Ken was a great leader who combined personal humility with a stoic resolve to make The International Group and its people a success. Ken’s ambition was for the Company, not for himself. For this, I admired him very much. Ken deeply valued relationships and always seemed to know everyone’s name, regardless of their title or job function. Ken had a quiet and calm determination combined with an unwavering resolve to produce long-term results. This I think is a rare combination which made Ken a special person. Ken’s standards were high and his personal values even higher. It was an honour having had the privilege to work with him.

You stood beside me during my family crisis and I couldn't be there for yours.
