O'DONOHUE, Gloria, R.N. (nee Knox) July 18, 1926 - November 1, 2015 It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gloria K. O'Donohue at St. Michael's Hospital, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Melville Joseph O'Donohue, Q.C., her parents Olga (nee Mahoney) and Albert Knox, K.C., her brother Lal and her sister Shelagh. Survived by her brother Paul (Ruth) of Southampton and their children Michael (Julie) and Tara (Ron) Veenstra. Great-aunt of Abigail and Matthew Knox and Thomas and Nicholas Veenstra. Adored (step) mother of Mary Jo, Stephen (Randy), Gregory (Stephen Voisin) and Melanie (Sean Smith). Sister-in-law of Jack (Marie), Frank (Agnes), Monsignor Vincent, Alma (Art Kealey), Rita (Basil Markle), Bernadette (Bob Ferguson) and Marie (Paul Lehman). She was a passionate fan of St. Michael's Hospital, loved to road-trip to the University of Notre Dame for football with her son-in-law Andrew Zsolt, the Liberal Party and Siesta Key, and all things Irish. Gloria was the kindest and loveliest person we knew. She had the biggest heart and only had positive things to say about everyone. She was fiercely independent until the very end. Gloria was a graduate of St. Michael's School of Nursing, 1949. Heartfelt thanks to the Cardiac Intensive Care team at St. Michael's Hospital. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4. Funeral Mass in BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH, 24 Cheritan Avenue (one block south of Lawrence) at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
