Obituary of Robert William Brooks

BROOKS, Robert William (Bill) On Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Toronto East General Hospital, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Lashley (2013). Will be dearly missed by his children Linda (Joel) Sinker, Stephen (Michelle), his grandchildren Courtney, Spencer, Noah, Aidan and best friend Jewell Betts. We have lost our best friend. He was a great listener, never judgmental, very kind, an old school gentleman, intelligent and a gentle spirit. Hours before his passing he thanked the doctor for coming. His incredible sense of humour will live on forever. Affectionately referred to as Buffalo Bill, Neighbourhood Watch, Carlton the Doorman, Uncle Bubbly, and the old man on the hill. We will miss his daily weather reports and will cheer on the Buffalo Bills on his behalf. Cheers Bill, may all your drinks have flavour! Private cremation has taken place.
