Obituary of Julia Akriotis

Julia Akriotis Passed away peacefully in the early hours of August 10, 2007 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Toronto Grace Medical Centre. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Demetrios Akriotis. Loving mother of Dean and Van (Laurie). Also survived by her sister Maria Hadjakou in Greece. Dear grandmother of Evan and Sydney. Julia will be fondly remembered by her many friends and relatives. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Mount Sinai and Toronto Grace Hospitals for their excellent care and support. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) Monday, August 13th from 7 - 9 p.m.. Funeral Service in ALL SAINTS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 222 Burbank Drive on Tuesday, August 14th at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
