In 1969, I was pursuing a Master's in French Literature at Victoria College. Denis Bouchard was my professor for a course on the romantic poets, Baudelaire, Rimbuad and Verlaine. He was passionate about his subject matter and anxious to pass this on to his students. I found him to be very supportive and I was thrilled when he gave me a copy of "Vagabond Du Blizzard", with a lovely dedication. I will treasure it always.

In 1969, it was my honour to take a course on the Romantic poets, Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Verlaine, as part of my Master's programme with Denis Bouchard as my professeur. I remember him fondly as someone who was passionate about the poets and eager to share those feelings with his students. He was a very supportive teacher and I was thrilled when he gave me a signed copy of "Vagabond du Blizzard". He added a very kind sentiment. I will treasure it.
My condolences to his family.
