JAMES, Olufemi Kashka Okpara
Kash (also known as Femi) James passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Vancouver General Hospital, in his 37th year, as a result of complications from his Bone Marrow Transplant and leukemia. Kash is remembered for (i) the love of his children and family, (ii) his close friendships which made him a true brother to many, (iii) being a protector and advisor to his loved ones, (iv) his passionate and candid opinions, and (v) his keen eye as a film editor and photographer. Kash leaves behind his daughter Zhanay, son Malcom, mother Vivienne, father Eugene (Carolyn), brother Wole (Thelma) and their children Micah, Luke and Naomi, his aunts Gilda (Frank) and Coralie (Jubal), his uncles Dalton (Phyllis), George (Marion-Anne), Elliot (Madge), Jim, Sinclair (Cynthia) and Edmund (Diane) and many loving cousins. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family thanks all of the staff at the Vancouver General Hospital Leukemia and Bone Marrow Transplant unit for their tireless care.
