I have just learned of Paul's passing and wish to extend my sincere condolences to his family on your loss. I was fortunate to work with Paul as one of his law clerks. He gave me my first job following my graduation from University. I will always be grateful to him for this opportunity. I learned so much about civil litigation as a result of his willingness to teach me. He was always so kind to me and I am indebted to him for hiring me. His belief in my abilities allowed me to forge forward in my life to a very successful career. Rest in Peace, Paul. You were a wonderful man.

I was very sorry to hear about Paul. I have just returned from a four week trip out of Canada and regret missing his funeral. Carol and I have many happy memories of Paul, you Desanka and the family. Lots of Progressive Conservative work and events,in as you say, good and bad times. We even bumped into Paul once in London, England and he took us to dinner at the London club affiliated with the Albany Club here in Toronto. Hello Desanka: Sorry to hear about Paul - Parkinson's can be a tough one. I remember both of you in Elliot Lake. You will no doubt recall Bill Brown of Brown and Gammell - John Gammell later became the brother-in-law of Marian and I. I remember a case where I gave medical testimony in the Elliot Lake court before Munro. Paul was Defense and Dick Sheehy was the Crown who made me kiss the bible - how unsanitary!
