Obituary of Jean Bickley

BICKLEY, Jean Marie (nee O'Neil) Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Gardener, Bruce Trail End-to-End Hiker, Provider of great meals, in her 77th year. Survived by John, her best friend and husband of 52 years. Jean will be greatly missed by her daughters Catherine (Jim Gardner), and Claire (Loyd Zadorozny), her sons Michael and James and her son-in-law Shant Ohannessian. She is predeceased by her youngest child Shirley-Anne Ohannessian (1996). Cherished Grandma of Quinton (Joanne Van), Michael, Jonathan, Krista, Lindsey, Sarah, Elizabeth, Tara and Grant. Daughter of the late Evelyn Delaney and Charles O'Neil of Windsor, Ontario. Daughter-in-law of the late Beatrice Jones and Reginald Bickley of Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, England. Sister of Edward O'Neil (Donna), Maureen Gervais (Paul), James O'Neil (Gayle), Patrick O'Neil (Barbara). Predeceased by her sister Shirley Gee (Stirling), and her brother Gary O'Neil (Marilyn). Sister-in-law of Susan Grace (Nick) of Farnham, Surrey, England. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada, England, and France. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A. W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Thursday, September 4 from 7-9 p.m. as well as on Friday, September 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service at ST. PAUL'S BASILICA, 83 Power Street (Queen & Parliament), Toronto on Saturday, September 6 at 11 o'clock. A reception will be held in the church hall following the Mass. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
