Obituary of Maurice Sadler

SADLER, Maurice William (Bus) 1924 - 2015 Passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Thursday, September 24th, in his 91st year. Beloved and best friend of Patricia 'Pat" (nee Hardie) for 53 years. Bus is survived by brother Bill (Mary deceased) (Mel) and sister Joyce (John deceased). Predeceased by his father Leslie, mother Alice, brothers George, John (Helen), Joseph (Winnie deceased), and sisters Anna (Ted deceased) and Alyce (Gerald). He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Bus had a long successful career in the media business, where he was beloved by his colleagues as both a mentor and friend. He was also a life long sports fan: his support for the Toronto Blue Jays was unwavering. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (at Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in ST.
