Obituary of Gordon Daw

DAW, Gordon Henry William Passed on Monday, September 21, 2015 in his 78th year. Loved and missed by daughter Lesley Daw, special lady Jill Goldthorp, sister Janet Duncan, and nephew Andrew Duncan and his family. Fondly remembered by Don Rastall, Kevin and Kirk Goldthorp and their families and by many friends and members of the Muskoka Shrine Club, Rameses Shriners and Masonic Unity Lodge #376. Gord spent 30 years serving the residents of Toronto as a member of the Metropolitan Toronto Police then continued to give back to his community through the Shrine, Masonic Lodge and Rotary Club, serving as President of the Muskoka Shrine for the year 1994 and then as Ambassador for the Muskoka Shrine. The family will receive friends at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 High Street, Huntsville on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral to be held at ALL SAINTS' ANGLICAN CHURCH, 30 High Street, Huntsville on Friday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal are greatly appreciated, www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/Locations/canada
