Obituary of James Grierson

GRIERSON, James Alexander, P.Eng. (1922-2015) James passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 20, 2015 in his 93rd year. James is survived by his children, Stephen, Wendy (Wargalla), and David, his six grandchildren, Ryan, Jeffrey, Jesse, Crystal, Alex and Dominik, his two great-grandchildren, Leila and Ethan, his sister Kathleen (Salter) and the Salter family and his sister-in-law Joan Grierson and the Bill Grierson family. James is predeceased by his beloved wife Bettine and his brother Bill. As President of Apco Industries, Jim was at the office until age 90. Jim lived life to the fullest and was an avid sportsman and hunter. He loved his time at the cottage in Haliburton and skiing in Collingwood. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 27, at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
