Obituary of Urve Karuks

KARUKS, Urve - Born January 18, 1936, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ergo. Cherished mother of Alar and Linda. Loving grandmother of Kairi and Andreas. Dear mother-in-law to Ilmar Vaikla. Loving sister of Dr. Ülo Ambus. Urve was a beautiful person, both on the inside and outside. She was a kind, sensitive and intelligent woman who helped and cared for many in times of need. Her intuitive and spiritual nature was a beacon of light for the spiritual growth for many. Urve was a talented, respected and published poetess in the Estonian Society and was respected for her gift with words. She has left a deep footprint on the hearts of all her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held for Urve at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 817 Mt. Pleasant Road (Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant) on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11 a.m.
