Obituary of Doris Richardson

RICHARDSON, Doris Olivia (nee Horton) Peacefully at the Claremont Residence in Toronto on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Richardson. Loving mother of Paul (Barb) of Seattle, Washington, the late Stephen (Sandra) and Bob of Toronto. Dear grandmother of Stephanie, Andrew and Taylor. Cherished sister of Marguerite Horton. Sadly missed by her lifelong friend Shirley Ramsey. Predeceased by brother Bud and sister Jean. Doris was a loving wife and mother, a great friend to many and a lifelong volunteer for a variety of charitable organizations in Montreal, Oakville and Vancouver. Doris's family would like to thank the staff of the Claremont, especially Juana Pantaleon, for their wonderful care over the years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29.
