Obituary of Marion Brisley

BRISLEY, Marion Elizabeth (nee Davis)Marion Elizabeth Brisley (nee Davis) peacefully passed away at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, August 18, 2008 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her sisters Emily, Dorothy and Pat, brothers Ron and Ted. Dearly beloved wife of the late William John (Bill) Brisley. Cherished mother of Paul and his wife Carole of Port Colborne, Ontario, Bonnie Watts of Warsaw, Ontario, Jennifer Holden and her husband Michael of Oakville, Ontario and Lisa (deceased). Loving grandmother of Kevin, Roger, Steven, Danny, Teddy (deceased), David, Bryan, Leah, and step-granddaughter Lindsay as well as loving great-grandmother of Jacob, Sarah, Alayne, Nathan and step-great-grandson Max. Caring aunt of 24 nieces and nephews. The family extends their extreme gratitude to Marion's caregivers at St. Peter's for their constant high level of care, dedication and compassion while making St. Peter's her home for the past three plus years. A devoted mother and wife, caring, fun loving and generous, Marion lived life to the fullest while her health permitted with music a constant love and companion. Marion will be dearly missed by everyone who shared her journey through life but she will be remembered for the cherished memories she created during the journey! Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of Marion's life with visitation commencing at 12 noon on Friday, August 22 at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), followed by a funeral service in the chapel at one o'clock. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
