Obituary of Doreen Rolston

ROLSTON, Doreen K. M. (nee Ward)Passed away in Toronto on Friday, August 1, 2008 in her 95th year. Husband Fredrick Henry Rolston, deceased in 1996, will be pleased to be with her in spirit. Doreen is sorrowfully missed by her daughters Kit Chilton and husband Robin Jones and Dee Nikiforow and husband Neil; grandchildren Chris Chilton, Jamie (Tonya) Winton and Julie Chilton, Chad (Ruth) Nikiforow and Kristie (Dwayne) Nikiforow and great-grandchildren Jaz Chilton and Seth and Katya Winton. The Jones family Pearl and Leroy and children were neighbours and friends for 58 years. Doreen loved animals including her dogs Darky and Miss Brown, horses Sprite and Betty- Anne and cats Puff, Diablo and Moxy. She also enjoyed cribbage, bridge, crosswords, learning and writing. A private family gathering was held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in Doreen's memory may be made to Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 16586 Woodbine Avenue, R.
