Obituary of Marcia Shirley

SHIRLEY, Marcia Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Toronto, Ontario in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband, Clifford John. Deeply loved by her children Cynthia, Gregory and Graham. Loving grandmother to Robert and Andrew O'Halloran, Ian and Adeline Shirley, and Aidan and Paige Shirley. Survived by her brother, Murray Smyth, and nieces and nephews. Marcia was born in Windsor, Ontario in 1939 and grew up in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. Graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and married Clifford in 1962. Marcia exemplified elegance and sophistication and was an advocate of a healthy lifestyle. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time on the golf course and traveling with Clifford and family. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3rd. A private funeral service for family will be held at a later date.
