JEFFERY, William (Bill) James, P.Eng.
June 26, 1931 - May 25, 2015
Bill passed peacefully on Monday, May 25th surrounded by his family. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jill, his three children, David (Rita), Michael (Lynn), and George (Natasha), and his step-children, Jonathan Nelson (Judy), Juliet (Don Behan) and Jane (deceased). He leaves behind nine wonderful grandchildren, Francesca, Kaitlyn, Delaney, Sean, Cameron, Sebastian, James, Paige and Andrew.
Bill was born in Toronto and attended the University of Toronto for Engineering and Business. He graduated with honours. Bill was first married to Sue Watson; they later divorced in 1972. Bill worked overseas, especially enjoying Italy and France. After many years Bill started his own Change Management Consulting Firm. Bill enjoyed these years immensely.
Bill will be remembered for his welcoming nature, humour, love of family, sailing, travelling all over the world, skiing, tennis, scuba diving and his famous ribs. He loved the family cottage in Muskoka and spent many happy hours working on never-ending cottage projects.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 for a celebration of Bill's life.
