Obituary of Euphemia Bolton

BOLTON, Euphemia (Mia) nee Lawson It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mia Bolton in the early hours of Saturday, May 23rd at Briton House, one month before her 97th birthday. Loving and treasured wife of Don Stanyer (deceased, 1961) and Harry Bolton (deceased, 1991). Devoted and cherished Mom of Brian (Linda) Stanyer, beloved stepmother of Kathy (Bob, deceased) Gibson and Jim (Norma) Bolton. Loving grandmother of Robert and David Bolton. Predeceased by her brothers George and Tom (Pat) Lawson. Survived by her sister-in-law Eileen Lawson. Predeceased by brother-in-law Jack Stanyer (Margaret) and sister-in-law Marjory (Orval). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews whose interests and concerns were close to her heart. Mia was a loyal and caring friend; her generosity was boundless. Our thanks to Dr. L. Stephen Johnson and the wonderful 9th floor nursing and support staff at Briton House. We are deeply grateful to Lena, Lourdes and Rhea for their unstinting care and affection for Mia. We take comfort in knowing that our beloved mom whose spirit and courage sustained her through so much, is at peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
