Obituary of Charlotte Craig

CRAIG, Charlotte McDougallOn 24 July, 2008 at the Hospital for Sick Children of complications arising from Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome. 3rd daughter of Daphne (née McDougall) and Gordon Craig. Sister to Samantha and Aurora (Rory). Charlotte worked hard to give us a glimpse of her spirit, which was at once strong and tender. In her short time (born 25 June 2008), she taught us many lessons and expanded our sphere of hope and aspiration. Daphne and Gordon were by her side. Loving, generous and helpful grandparents are Jim and Jane Craig, Ron McDougall and Marina Mezey McDougall. Step-grandparents are Marjolaine Boutet and Mike Loudon. Aunts and Uncles to Charlotte are Cathy and Gail Prosser-Craig, and Raymond and Caroline (née Harris) McDougall. A private memorial service will follow in the autumn. Daphne and Gordon will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
