Dear 'Aunt' Margaret was always a warm, kind and caring person. She took me under her wing when I needed to have major surgery at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto. Even at that time she would have been in her mid 70's. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered!

I only remember a very few interactions with Margret Whitelaw. One visit was when I was a young teenager. Uncle Headly was living with her. I remember he was 96 at that visit. Another visit was when Warren & Marilyn Whitelaw (mom and dad) took my wife (Gail) and myself to visit her several years after we were married. Aunt Margaret was so gracious and caring. She was so happy to receive our visit. Aunt Margaret wanted to make our visit special, so she sent an English Teacup and saucer home with my wife. Gail and I have cherished this gift of love for over 30 years now. For all those mourning the loss of this beautiful woman: May time ease the pain, but not the memories!

Great Aunt Margaret was always warm and loving to me and my six siblings. I remember visiting her and her parents as a child and they treated us like we were their own grandchildren. Fond memories for sure of a wonderful woman.

We're thankful to have loving memories of a spirited and engaging great-aunt who was always full of questions and stories to share. Someone who knew how to have fun and share laughter. An Aunt who loved to 'lunch' and knew the best spots to enjoy a meal together. Aunt Marg will be remembered well and often.

Aunt Marg took me home with her many Sundays when we were at Fern Avenue. I stayed with her after Aunt Margaret's funeral. She took me home with her from Royal Oak..traveling with Mabel and Fred Smart. Aunt Marg was fun, caring and brilliant. I loved her much. My Dad is very sad...she was like a sister to him.

Aunty Marg was a kind loving person. She was always interested in our family and I remember when I was a small boy her taking me to the old stock exchange building on Bay St and giving me the tour. She also took me to my first hockey game at Maple Leaf Gardens. She always kept in touch and she will be dearly missed. Love, Peter

Margaret took us young adults under her wing. We welcomed her telephone calls checking up on us every month. I felt as if she was between an aunt or mother to me. She cared much for us all. She held firm by her Christian standards and she was a great example to those younger than her. She had a streak of mischief about her as well. When I first met her, I was reminded of her "cousin?" Warren Whitelaw who also had alot of mischief about him too! She is missed every time I visit at Bayview church. May you rest at peace in the home of your rich reward.

to the most, blessed and dearest, 'nephew' of margaret's, whom margaret fondly and often spoke about, lovingly and deeply-appreciated, of his company, love, care, and concern and helpfulness, so often, like her 'son'
myrtle and her late-husband, arthur-bert, attended 'bayview-church' along-side with margaret @ many, senior's-xmas-dinner's, sing-along's, and birthday-mile-stone celebrations - there is only a handful of senior's left from 'bayview'
margaret was always so kind and gracious to our family - the dale's - we will miss margaret's - 'fight and gritty; however, polite and intelligent 'nature'
see you in 'heaven' margaret - love and miss you, the dale's @ 'bayview'

Margaret has always been fondly remembered as the matchmaker. Thirty eight years ago while we worked with her at The Toronto Stock Exchange she brought us together. We remember her as a professional and highly skilled colleague who had wit and a sharp sense of humour. Our condolences to the family in the passing of a lovely lady. Gerhard and Margaret Ann Wetzel
