I have never met Jim but I got to know him on BNN. I regard Jim as my favourite analyst and the most trusted businessman in Canada. He was an incredible person and he would be here today had it not been for the malacious actions of Russia. Canada will miss Jim. No one had more integrity.

We send our condolences to the family at this sad and devastating time. We didn't connect too often since our girls left TFS, but when we did it was memorable. Jim' s wry smile and humour was always there.

To say we are going to miss you is an understatement. We have shared so many wonderful memories over the years, so happy to be able to look back at those. You were always a joy to have for our "American Thanksgiving". Will we ever forget what your plate looked like and when we called you on it all we saw was that contagious smile.
You were a wonderful partner to Pat, great stepdad to Natalie and the greatest friend we could ask for.

We are sure going to miss Jim, every Labor Day weekend & every year a visit to the States (our Thanksgiving). We all had so much fun, lots of laughs & plenty of food.
