Obituary of Liia Sutt-Aidamets

Sutt-Aidamets, Liia (nee Kuld) Passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Ehatare Nursing Home, Toronto at the age of 82. She was predeceased by first husband Jaan and second husband Leonhard. She is lovingly remembered by her son Juri, grandson Michael (Heidi), great-grandsons Will, Cole, Grady and her devoted sister Lea Vahi. A harrowing escape from Soviet-occupied Estonia led Liia and family first to Sweden and then a lasting refuge in Canada. It was her feisty, indomitable spirit to three times defeat life-threatening illness to survive and play a meaningful role in the lives of those around her. We would like to express our gratitude to the 4th floor staff at Ehatare for their care during Liia's difficult, last three years. The family will receive friends at ST. PETER'S ESTONIAN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 817 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto on Thursday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
