Obituary of Robert Edwin Huggard

HUGGARD, Robert Edwin Bob died peacefully of pancreatic cancer, at North York General Hospital, on Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born August 22, 1927, in Windsor, Ontario, the son of the late Robert and Flossie Huggard, brother of the late Ruth Huggard and brother-in-law of Tom James and his wife Jill. For almost 61 years he was married to Susan (nee James) of Brockville. He was the father of Bob (Marie), Mary (Steven) and David (Kelly). He was the very proud grandfather of Colin (Samantha), Dana (Corey), Laura and Elena. Bob was a Chemical Engineer, graduating from the University of Toronto in 1950. He spent his 35 working years in the Plastics and Engineering division of C.I.L. In his retirement, he completed many genealogical histories of our family members. He was also a talented digital artist, including many Canadian scenes, especially those around Southampton, Ontario. The funeral service will be held at ST. JOHN'S YORK MILLS ANGLICAN CHURCH, on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. No visitation. Interment will be held in St. John's churchyard following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North York General Hospital or Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Southampton, Ontario.
