Obituary of Diana Dalton-Cruickshank
Dalton-Cruickshank, Diana Piper
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Diana in her home in Caledon, peacefully in her sleep on April 8th, 2012. Born in Toronto on June 27th 1942, she was the daughter of William and Joyce Dalton and was predeceased by her husband Ralph Cruickshank, soul-mate for 40 years, and her brother David. Diana will be sorely missed by her daughter, Katharine, son-in-law, Blake, granddaughters Ainsley and Taylor, and brother Jonathan. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends and cousins, whose lives she touched with joy and laughter. Diana cherished all creatures, appreciated the beauty around her, and loved to be out chasing rainbows.
Friends may visit Sunday, April 15th from 3-5 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Ave. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 16th at 2p.m. at St. James' Cathedral in Toronto. If desired, donations in Diana's memory may be made to the Upper Credit Humane Society in Erin.
