Obituary of Dorothy Griggs

GRIGGS, Dorothy Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her loving parents, Charles and Violet Griggs. Dorothy was an active volunteer in her community and a devoted daughter. She will be greatly missed by her caring circle of friends whose privilege it was to support her through her later years, Gary and Claudette Weeks, Ann McKenney and Tom Hamer. We wish to thank Dr. Goodall for his consistent support over the years, and Rehana, who brought sunshine to her life every day and provided extraordinary care and friendship. Also many thanks to the team at Chartwell Millwood Retirement Residence and Woodgreen Community Care for continually meeting Dorothy's ever changing needs. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 13. Funeral Mass to be held in ST. ANSELM CHURCH, 1 MacNaughton Road at Millwood Road at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14.
