In the early years of the 70's, I was an apprentice mechanic working at the Kennedy and Lawrence store. Some of my fondest memories and changes happened there. Dick Billes (and Norma)were so easy to approach...and I had many interactions with them.

Dear Norma & Ann, It has been 20 years this August since I last met with Dick & seldom has a month past bye that I did not think of all of you. He was a gentleman to me even though I never showed the respect & courtesy that you all deserved by at least saying goodbye to each of you in person. My fondest wish was that all of you, especially Ann, would have a full and happy life. Norma, Rob and Ann - We were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing and want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. In one way, it must be a relief to know that he will not suffer any more and we trust that, in time, your pain and loss will become easier to bear. Dear Norma, Rob and Ann: So sorry to read of Dick's passing. I know we haven't seen each other in years but I have fond memories of Brian Cliff Dr. I used to hang out at Helen and Ken's place and saw you often. When you started coming to McLean Animal Hospital I got to know Rob and Ann more. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Dick. To the Billes family; I was deeply sorry to hear about the passing of MR.B As I am sure he will be greatly missed. You may not remember me but I worked at the old 239 with him. and can remeber his retirement party like yesterday. I worked for him for over ten years and it started something truley amazing. I still work for Canadian Tire today. I am at the Uxbridge store. And have been here for 13 years I would like to take this opportunity to thank MR.B for the guidance and the integrity that has followed me there.
