Obituary of Marguerite Laing

LAING, Marguerite Elizabeth (nee Gosset) Betty of St. Hilda's Towers, died peacefully in Toronto, on Friday, July 18, 2008, in her 97th year, with her friends at her side. Only daughter of Marguerite Lee and Ernest Gosset. Betty was predeceased by her husband Stuart, brother E. Lee Gosset, sister-in-law Margaret Devaney and nephew Michael Gosset. She is survived by her niece Lee Anne Smith (Gosset) and her husband Robert, nephew David Gosset and his wife Malia and great nieces and nephews Tannis, Stephanie and Philip Smith and Courtney, Taylor and Spencer Gosset. The family will receive friends at CHRIST CHURCH DEER PARK, 1570 Yonge Street at Heath Street on Tuesday July 22, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m.. followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
