Obituary of Andrew Young

YOUNG Andrew Wallace It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Wallace Young, born May 30th 1932 in Rutherglen Scotland. Andrew will be so deeply missed and remembered by his beautiful wife Jean, his children Drew, Craig, Susan, and their spouses who he loved without compromise. He ADORED his grandchildren, Andie-Jean, Brooke Adair and Spencer Josef. He was a wonderful brother to Ron and Iain and a great "Uncle Drew". Sad beyond words. "Gwampa" was indeed a special man. Bright, intelligent and insightful. With empathy for all mankind. As funny as hell - an imp in a man's being. The one to turn to in a crisis - would always have your back. Loved his clan fiercely - a Wallace. Brave, stoic through pain and so kind. All the qualities, we strive for, he lived, loved and was loved. This sadness will turn to happiness with all the memories Andy has given us. Please have a toast to a great man. We were so lucky to have him, he will be deeply missed by many. Bye bye Gramps...Love Love Love Andy's gathering will be held on Saturday, April 11th between 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue). Stories and such will be spoken promptly at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Hospital for Sick Kids.
