Don, you inspired us. You led the team on a bold adventure unique in Canadian television for its time: to produce for CTV 20 documentaries, filmed world-wide, to run consecutive weeks in prime-time. And they swept the News ratings ! That was the mid-70s. That was a time never forgotten, old friend.

Dear Trina: I'm so sorry to hear about Don, and his last years, which could not have been easy for either of you. I remember him as a fine and thoughtful colleague at CTV. I still treasure his sense of humour and witty comments about the many hazards of working in network television. We also played many a good game of squash together - good because neither of us would have made it into a club league but still had a lot of fun and healthy exercise.
