My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother Margaret. I got to know Margaret many years ago when I started the Triple S Club at St. Andrews Church. Margaret was the pianist for the sing-a-long, which is a focal point for any senior gathering, and so was vital in it's success. As it is still going strong after all these years, Margaret's involvement was a major factor in its popularity. I was a program director at Ward's Island Sunshine Centres for Seniors for 17 years and looked forward to every Tuesday when Margaret would arrive to play the piano. She was very involved with the creation of a new song book for the seniors including old and newer favourites. Margaret was a very kind and understanding person and great fun to be around. We had many laughs and good chats at the Island. I will miss her very much. She will be missed by all who knew her. Sincerely, Dorothy Robertson

Tom, Bruce and Beth I was saddened to hear of the death of your Mom. With the news though I have many fond memories of the times I spent with your family in my youth. It was usually after church when I would be invited back to Sunday dinner and the afternoon. (On some Sundays Tom led me astray to skip the Sunday School portion of church.) Your home was a warm and welcoming place because of your Mom. She always had time for us even as silly children and teens. A few years back I stopped by to see your parents at Kensington Towers and the tea and cookies were brought out as they had been in the past.Your Mom hadn't really changed. She still had that lovely laugh and smile that welcomed me into their home where we reminisced and caught up on our respective families. It was just like another home-coming at the Deacon's. You all have precious memories of your Mom and Dad that will comfort you in the coming days and years. I know there are many laughs as well as tears to come but be rest assured there are many who share your sadness with the passing of your Mom. My thoughts and sympathy are with you all. Paul

Dear Beth, I want to let you know how sad I am to know of Margaret's death. I valued her friendship although I knew her a relatively short time. I was impressed with her affection and love for her family. They gave her much joy and pleasure. She was a great example for all of us. I hope that happy memories of your time together will sustain you as you cope with your loss. I cherish our friendship and will miss her. Please convey my sympathy to the rest of her family. Sincerely, Betty Stubbins 21 Dale Ave.
