Hello Andrea, Please know your mom was a highly valuable and respected member at Carswell, a Thomson Reuters Business. While presenting the “Lorraine Pang Leadership Award” today during our ‘All Employees Meeting’ at Carswell, the speech you delivered was amazingly touching and meaningful. Your mom demonstrated Trust, Humour, Respect, Inspiration, Volunteerism and Excellent Leadership Skills. Lorraine was a wonderful human being with a great smile in her face and a huge heart to connect to people easily. We joined the Leadership Intern Program as total strangers and became good friends as time passed by, and her friendship can never be forgotten. Please accept my sincere condolences for you and your family. We were humbled by her kindness and compassion to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed and everyone here is saddened by her death. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and friends. With sincere sympathy, Quintus

First, my heartfelt condolences to Lorraine's daughter and family. This was my introduction to Lorraine's work: "Thanks vm Cam. All corrections/suggestions made. Excellent work in catching these miscues (from Blakes IP lawyer no less) – whoever did so is to be applauded. Also, use of comment box made it very easy. W." Cam Murchison let me know that the person to be applauded here was Lorraine. That was on November 12, 2014. Lorraine consistently kept up her great work. She had remarkable insights and observations. As well, Lorraine was forever cheerful despite the seemingly impossible demands we heaped on her. She was held in the highest esteem by her colleagues. Her passing shocked all of us. We all miss her beyond what words can say.

Andrea and family - I had the pleasure of working with Lorraine for several years at Canada Law Book. We started around the same time. Although we didn't work together at the Carswell office we continued to meet regularly for sushi with a small CLB group. Lorraine was a strong, smart woman who was so much fun to be with. I will miss her smile and quick wit and the amazing twinkle in her eyes. I hope you find peace in knowing that Lorraine touched the lives of everyone she knew in a positive way.

Andrea...There is one memory that I have of your Mother that keeps coming back to me. I got to your place early on this particular day and I could see Your Mom sitting at her beloved piano, lost in a beautiful piece of music that she was playing. She was going through a very difficult time, and as was her way, she was facing it with unwavering courage and tenacity, but in that moment,on that day, I was very aware of how truly sensitive she was...and how she felt every single note. Lorraine was a wonderful human mixture of contradictions and colours. She loved you big as the sky and was soooo proud of you. She was incredibly bright...to the point where it was hard for me to keep up at times. She had an awesome laugh and she could "rock on" all through the night, if given the chance. She cared so deeply for her family and friends and was always there if you needed her. I'll miss her always. I'm so sorry that she's gone from you, but I know your Mom will never truly leave you. Love you Andrea.

I was so saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing. There was nothing that made her happier than talking and sharing stories about you Andrea - a very proud mom she was.I had the pleasure of working along side of her for many years. We shared a lot of laughs at CLB as well as a deep passion for awesome shoes that made a statement. I will fondly remember her every time I wear a great pair while sipping on a Mojito. She will be greatly missed. Thank you to her for always getting my humour.

Lorraine lived life to the fullest and her many, many friends are a testament to that. She was a great Mom and being a single parent is a HARD job that she did with grace and elegance.
Andrea was so lucky to have her in her life, as we all were…I will miss our dinners, our vacations and her many calls just to say hi…my little Lilly's bum never wagged so hard as when Lorraine came to my house…..
The measure of a woman is not - "how did she die" but - "how did she live" It is not - "what did she gain" but - "what did she give"
We will miss you so much

Lorraine was a wonderful co-worker, always honest and forthright, and ever so helpful. I can remember talking with her about the difficulty in travel to go see my Mum and her offering to drive me all the way to Niagara and back so I could. A colleague is so much more when they become a friend. I consider myself very lucky to have been a become a friend of Lorraine's. I'll always cherish the lunch times we spent together, and the little chats we would have throughout the workday, emailing back and forth about life and everything it entails. She was wise, and always so kind and generous. "If you need me, I'm here", I remember her saying to me once, and meaning it. Genuine, and loving. And funny, she was so funny. To Andrea and family - my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Lorraine - our Leadership Intern group will forever have an empty chair and we will remember you with each moment that we share together. You are not forgotten. Thank you for what you brought to my life. Until we meet again, my friend. xo

Co-workers become family, and when one has gone to be an angel a huge part of your heart breaks. I am very sad, and it was a very hard day. A fun lady so loving and true, A person to look up to when your feeling blue. A person you respected and would help you in your life. A lady with such humour and grace. She smiled and made you smile through your job every day. She knew how to get rid of the bad and make it go away. You're an angel in the heavens above, past the clouds in the sky. Lorraine it is going to be so sad to say Good-bye. I know co-workers who will miss you so, We all wish that we did not have to let you go. Each one of us cherish a memory in our mind.
