Dearest Jane and Sue - your Dad was such an incredible treasure. I have many fond memories of our teenage years at your beautiful home on Rockland Avenue in Victoria. Both your parents always had time to chat with us as young teenage girls and their kindness and generosity was always so appreciated. Sending you and the rest of the family much love. Laurel xox

Jane & Susan & family: I was so very saddened to her about Grant's passing. I will always fondly remember him at the family cottage in Kincardine, sitting in his chair "overseeing" everything that was going on. He was a remarkable human being, a wonderful story teller and full of wit & humour. His laugh was infectious as was his smile and his eyes. He was a little mischieveous but that addded to his charm. He made people feel at ease. He was dapper and a true gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. xoxo

Dear Jane, Susan and family, Doug and I are saddened by Uncle Grant's passing. We are so glad we had a great visit with him over Christmas. I will miss the twinkle in his eye, his dapper style, and the talks on golf. He loved his family and the summers in Kincardine won't be quite the same. He will be missed.

Hi Jane and Sue, I was so sorry to read of your father's crossing. He was an amazing, gentle and kind man. A man whose family meant everything to him, he glowed when he talked about all of you.A man who laughed easily and held a twinkle in his bright, blue eyes, who adored golf, relished his friends and one can not fail to mention the elegant style in which he dressed. Your Dad when he came so often to visit Mom, never failed to appear at our door looking like the handsome, dashing man he was bearing gifts from Remark. I'm so thankful for those visits and the time we spent together. Such precious memories of your wonderful Father, Mother and you too. Love, Deb, Dana and Natasha

Jane, Sue,and the rest of the clan .... Grant (Mr. Mackenzie to me!), was one of those great, fun and caring people. He was one of those people that always put the needs of others before himself. My lasting memory of Grant will be unwavering love, support and care he took of Mary during her illness. He will be greatly missed by Stuart, Cindy and family. On behalf of our family we will be making a donation to Sunnybrook Veterans Care. We will be toasting Grant's life with a wee dram.
