To my dear Ken, Charlotte, Caroline and Cathy, I continually marvelled at your mom's capacity to cherish family. She was in her element when surrounded by her children and beamed with unabashed adoration at her beautiful grandkids- the newest "fir trees" as Dedda used to say. Please know how much Doug and I appreciated being included in so many of the Murray family gatherings. She was always so very good to me. I believe that the closest relationships we form live on after death, just in a different way. Your mom 's voice, words and laughter will forever be nearby- in the steaming plate of chevapi just off the grill, the merriment at family gatherings, times of quiet solitude and the presence of indomitable spirit. It was a privilege to have shared her life. My love to you all. Nat.

Hi Mrs. Murray, I was saddened to hear that my favourite neighbour and piano teacher was so sick. You've always held a special place in my thoughts. I appreciated that your house was always open and you hosted so many of us kids for birthdays, summer get-togethers, and Christmas parties. I still remember your warm smile and the way it brightened a room. I guess I wrote this because I wanted you to know that you've had an influence on my life that I will always remember. Lots of love, Brad.

Dear nieces and nephews: When I think of your mom, her admirable qualities of generosity and hospitality are foremost as well as her ardent love she had for you all, including her many grandchildren. She has left you a precious legacy in how to live and die, which was one of her chief objectives. She was a vigorous defender of the family; a good example for us all. With our love and sympathy, Aunt Helen & Uncle Bruce
